The Demon Awakens

Ryn awakes in a very cold sweat shivering as the last of the mind numbing spell that

he has fought for so long subsides. The battle with the Demon Lord Opasa did not end

as he had planned. Instead of displacing the Lord he was vanquished and subjected to

the bite of the Hoicoa, the demon dogs of Opasa which resulted in the mind numbing

spell from which he had just awakened.

"CURSE YOU OPASA for your hideous treatment of me!", Ryn raged.

The punishment was fitting none the less as he had fully lost control of his mind

and body and the weak coward that was locked in a deep chamber of his mind had

stepped forth to drive his body and his existence for well over 100 years. He was

forced to watch as one failure after another was heaped upon his Demonic legacy. He

had much to correct in the last several years, not the least of which was the need

to torment properly those mortals here in this world who fool heartily believed they

could control a true Incubus!

They would rue the day of their arrogance, much needed to be done. Ryn looked down at

the tattered body of the Drow he was wearing over his body and raged at the

insolence of that naive Drowess who thought she controlled him. Gone now were the

lack of knowledge that prevented him from shape shifting to his desired appearance.

He sliced the dead flesh from his own and snarled as the decomposing flesh fell

away.  He assumed his natural form for a short while and flew to the secluded glen to

clean the months of stench from his body. He returned to the lair he had used for so

long only to retrieve his soul amulet and Drow weapons that were there. As he left

the cavern, he collapsed the tunnel entrance in disgust.

Yes, they would truly rue the day of their arrogance. Ryn then shape shifted to a

wizened old human healer and went in search of the arrogant bitch gypsy who he had

nearly killed; she would not be allowed the grace of an easy death. No, he had far

more dark plans for her.
