Fiesty Lotus:
Imbolc is the time of the light returning and the earth quickening, moving ever closer to the days of light yet before us. It is the celebration of the three in one. Brighid, the light bringer, patron of the poets, the smiths and the healers. Join us as we call the elements to support us.

Calling the Elements
Fiesty Lotus:
I call upon the Spirit of the North, the earth mother, the Great Wolf, to be with us in our sacred rite.
Bring the peace of the North!
Fitheach Eun:
I call upon the Spirit of the East, the sky brother, the Great Raven, to be with us in our sacred rite.
Bring the peace of the East!

I call upon the Spirit of the South, the fire father, the Great Dragon, to be with us in our sacred rite.

Fiesty Lotus:
Spirits of those who are dear to us, be welcome here this day, join us in welcoming Brighid, honored among us as warrior-smith, poet-teacher, and healer and supporter of new growth; gifts that all of us may share.

The cold has begun to fade away,
and the days grow longer.
This is a time in which the earth is quickening,
birthing the fire after the darkness.

We welcome the bringer of the light, and the spirit of spring returning. We beseech her to lay her mantle on the land and bring peace and the return of growing things. Guide us in the transformation to come.

Fitheach Eun:
This is a time of transformation; of rebirth and fertility,
and as the earth grows full of life,
may you find abundance on your own path.

Banish the winter’s cold and ice, bring warmth and enduring light to these lands. We offer fruits of the last harvest in hope of more harvests to come.

We call for peace in this land and all lands. We call for peace in our hearts and minds and towards all our fellow beings. May there be peace in all the world.
