Market Day - A Discussion of Recent Drow Encounters

Talia.Sunsong: "I'm going to be a warrior Fae now, so I ram evil elves instead of trees."

Saphira Mistwalker: "Lady Talia, that would be a danger to trees, yes?"

Jaekob Faolan draws in a deep breath as he sees many of his dear friends gathered at Market. He nods and smiles to all, "Vedui dear ones."

Market Day in Cheshire

Talia.Sunsong: "Yes, as Fae Sunbeam says, my head is hard when I hit the tree."

Fiesty Lotus shakes her head at Lady Saphira.

Fitheach Eun looks closely at the Aran; "Have you been in a fight?"

Jaekob the Druid King

Talia.Sunsong: "Greetings Druid King! Pray tell which direction is your castle?"

Fiesty Lotus whispers "Let her have he fantasy."

Jaekob Faolan: "Fi...fight? Well no, I just came from the infirmary."

Fitheach Eun: "You are spattered with blood..."

Fiesty Lotus: "Greetins Master Druid. Yes you be a sight Master Druid."

Talia.Sunsong: "Is anyone infirm? I can help, I'm danger Fae."

Fitheach Eun: "Is someone badly injured?"

Fiesty Lotus: "I kin clean that up with a little earth spirit if yer want."

Jaekob Faolan: "I....I am?" he pauses for a moment and looks at his tunic. "I am more than sad to say a Drow has attacked one of the farmers near Cheshire. Those Drow are getting bold. Now they are at farms. And that one attacked Kat at her house,"

Fitheach Eun smiles at Fiesty; "Or I can call up a storm if you prefer."

Jaekob Faolan offers a brief smile to Fiesty, "That would be appreciated dear one."

Saphira Mistwalker sighs. "And I was just telling Lady Fiesty they were avoiding my cave. I knew it was too good to be true."

Talia.Sunsong: "Without farmers, how will we get cream?"

Fiesty Lotus: "Is the farmer alright?"

Fitheach Eun: "Is the farmer all right or...?"

Kathena Mavendorf approaches quietly.

Saphira Mistwalker: "Greetings Lady Kathena."

Jaekob Faolan: "He has serious wounds on his shoulder and abdomen. I have done what I can for now aand left him sleeping."

Fitheach Eun smiles at the gypsy; " How are you Lady Kathena?"

Talia.Sunsong: "Maybe I have some mushrooms to help...."

Jaekob Faolan: Kathena, vedui," he says with a nod of his head.

Kathena Mavendorf: "Greetings everyone. I'm no Lady...." laughs.
Kathena Mavendorf: "I'm doing well thank you."
Kathena Mavendorf: What's happened?

Talia.Sunsong: "Gypsy woman then."

Fitheach Eun: "I am very glad to hear that; no after effects from the drow?"

Kathena Mavendorf: "Kathena is fine Lady Talia."
Kathena Mavendorf: "Or Kat if you prefer."

Jaekob Faolan: "Poison does not seem to have been used which surprises me a bit."

Fiesty Lotus takes out her staff and touches the Masters garb, saying "Spirit of Earth, send the stains away."

Fiesty Uses Magic

Kathena Mavendorf sees the blood on Jaekob's clothes.

Fitheach Eun considers adding a rain shower but thinks better of it.

Jaekob Faolan swallows aand looks down on Fiesty, "Thank you little one."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Jaekob what's happened?! Are you well?"

Talia.Sunsong: "Good I'm glad Kathena is fine so you are not ill," she says not understanding Kat's meaning.

Saphira Mistwalker: "Aye Aran, I was surprised the Dow did not use a poisoned blade on me last week either. I wonder why?"

Jaekob Faolan turns to look at her, "Yes, am.. well enough. There is a farmer in the infirmary. He was attacked by a Drow."

Kathena Mavendorf makes a face, "That damned creature again!"

Jaekob Faolan raises a brow and bites his lip hard, "Poison....on you.... When... what... happened," he asks biting his lip harder.

Talia.Sunsong: "We need a spy on the Drow, maybe one of you elves can join them, or bribe a Drow to talk."

Saphira Mistwalker grins. "We had a bit of an .... encounter with the Drow Ryn this last market day."

Fitheach Eun looks at the ambassador questioningly.

Kathena Mavendorf: "Aye, but we're fine. Miss Fiesty patched us up quite nicely."

Saphira Mistwalker giggles. "I don't think he left with the good he expected."

Talia.Sunsong : "I tried to ram him and hit a tree and Lady Saph and Lady Fiesty took him out."

Jaekob Faolan: "The Drow was at Market last week?" he growls and clenches his fists.

Fitheach Eun sighs; "Everything happens when I am not here."

Kathena Mavendorf: "He was trying to kill me. Perhaps we can use me as bait to get him out of hiding?"

Talia.Sunsong: "He was up there," points to top of wall.

Saphira Mistwalker: "He was on the wall to the east here, and shot an arrow at Kathena."

Jaekob Faolan: "No," he says rather loudly turning to Kat. "We will not risk your life."

Talia.Sunsong: "We need a spy on the Drow."

Kathena Mavendorf rolls her eyes.

Fiesty Lotus raises an eyebrow at Druid Fit.

Saphira Mistwalker: "Several of us took to flight and challenged him, and when he came to ground he faired the worse for a little bit of dagger play with me."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Lady Saphira was very ferocious in her fighting! And Lady Talia showed no fear."

Jaekob Faolan: "So no one was.. seriously injured?"

Kathena Mavendorf shakes her head

Fitheach Eun looks at Fiesty.

Saphira Mistwalker shrugs. "He cut me across the stomach, again, but it was not deep and not poisoned. I have already healed."

Fiesty Lotus: "Naw- he was daft to take us all on."

Talia.Sunsong: "You should of seen Saph go at him. He sliced at her and she sliced him harder,"thrusts the air to mimic the fight.

Jaekob Faolan: "And was he injured?"

Fitheach Eun: "I might be able to spy on them again...."

Saphira Mistwalker nods to Lady Fiesty. "He did show poor judgement coming here against so many."

Saphira, Fitheach, Talia and Jaekob

Jaekob Faolan chuckles at Talia, "Well a Drow is no match for Dragon kin."

Kathena Mavendorf: "He was still dealing with the wounds I previously dealt him. I think Lady Saphira gave him some new ones." grins.

Saphira Mistwalker smiles wickedly., "I was not about to let him prevail as he did in the Underdark."

Talia.Sunsong: "He ran away from us and Danger FAE."

Fitheach Eun: "The undines may be willing to go into the Shadow Lands again..."

Jaekob Faolan: "Danger F.." he begins to ask and then chortles a bit at the brave Fae.

Kathena Mavendorf: "Miss Fiesty even used her Druid magic against him!"

Saphira Mistwalker: "Aye, he was up against far more than one of us."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Such valiant ladies."

Jaekob Faolan grins at Fiesty, "I knew your magics were growing immensely, but now attacking Drow eh? I am so..well proud of you."

Talia.Sunsong tries to remember if she has pulled pranks on the Undines or not, and if the Undines hate her."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Miss Fiesty is formidable to say the least!"

Talia.Sunsong: "Then Fiesty sent magic a flying from her staff--boom!"

Fitheach Eun looks questioningly at the Aran; "Shall I ask them?"

Kathena Mavendorf giggles.

Fiesty Lotus blushes, "well if magicin a thorn tree against him counts."

Jaekob Faolan: "I have no doubt. Perhaps I should turn the reins over and tend to other matters hmm?"

Fiesty Lotus: "Nono, nooo!"

Kathena Mavendorf looks quizzically at Fit wondering what she's on about.

Talia.Sunsong: "Thorn trees are nasty. I've flown into them after drinking just a tiny bit of cream."

Saphira Mistwalker: "Most assuredly Druid Fiesty. It gave him pause and forced him to fight on more than one front."

Jaekob Faolan chuckles at Fiesty, "Well both of you are certain equal to me of late, my dear Fiesty."

Fiesty Lotus blushes again and starts fiddling with her food display.

Talia.Sunsong: "Naah not equal, Fiesty is shorter than you, Druid King."

Kathena Mavendorf giggles.

Jaekob Faolan: "Well aside from that," smiles.

Fiesty Lotus: "Well now- I got fresh shrimp terday, and salad too."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Oooh."

Fitheach Eun sighs and gives up trying to discuss the undines.

Talia.Sunsong: "The mermaids really like shrimp."

Jaekob Faolan: "Shrimp you say?" and he moves closer to Fiesty's market stall.

Fiesty Lotus smiles at Druid Fit and nods.

Talia.Sunsong: "You are friends with Undines, Lady Fit?"

Fitheach Eun: "There are some that speak with me, yes."

Fiesty Lotus whispers at Druid Fit, "It might be best if yer um Folowwers don't get a lot of notice."

Jaekob Faolan: "Oh the shrimp smell good. How much are they?"

Kathena Mavendorf: "Undines?"

Fiesty Lotus shrugs and turns to the Master Druid.

Saphira Mistwalker walks over to check out Fiesty's wares.

Fitheach Eun: "No it must be their choice to do it again."

Talia.Sunsong: "What do the undines say? They don't hate Fae right, but hate Drow?"

Fiesty Lotus:  "They be eight coppers Master Druid."
Fiesty Lotus: "They be fresh and plentiful."
Fiesty Lotus: "Spring be here yer know."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Who are the Undines?"

Fitheach Eun: "Undines are water spirits, Kat; tiny females that live in the waters."
Fitheach Eun: "They can go wherever water goes."

Jaekob Faolan looks around, "Then I will buy a plate for each of us and have four sent to my home in Calenhad eh? and he digs in his pouch for the coins.

Kathena Mavendorf eyes open in wonder, "I've never run across them in my travels. I guess they must hide from humans."

Talia.Sunsong: "Free food?"

Fitheach Eun: "They hide from almost everyone."

Fiesty Lotus: "Oh my."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Ah."

Fiesty Lotus: "That is real generous Master Druid."

Fitheach Eun: "I am very lucky that they choose to speak with me."

Fiesty Lotus: "I will get on it.""

Talia.Sunsong: "Introduce me to them, Lady Fit. They probably won't hide from Danger Fae."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Ooh shrimp!"
Kathena Mavendorf: "Thank you Jaekob. You are most generous."

Jaekob Faolan nods as he picks up one of the shrips and takes a big bite..."Hmmm tasty."

Talia.Sunsong sidles up to get free food.

Fitheach Eun smiles at the fae; "Just go to the water and call them Fae Talia; you will see if they will answer."

Kathena Mavendorf smiles at Talia.

Talia.Sunsong : "You did say a plate for each of us, with lots of sauce?"

Jaekob Faolan: "Sunbeam," he smiles. "How are you this fine eve?"

Kathena Mavendorf: "Greetings Lady Sunbeam."

Talia.Sunsong: "Do I call a certain name for the Undines?"

Talia.Sunsong: "FAE sister! Greetings."

Fitheach Eun: "I call them spirits of the water."

Sunbeam Magic: "Greetings my friends, the spring weather is making me happy."

Saphira Mistwalker: "Greetings Lady Sunbeam."

Jaekob Faolan nods and sighs heavily, "Yes... the weather is fit enough."

Talia.Sunsong: puts hands on hips and poses "I'm Danger FAE, a warrior Fae now, Lady Sunbeam."

Kathena Mavendorf snickers.

Saphira Mistwalker shakes her head and mutters, "Oh great dragon mother."

Fitheach Eun: "Vedui Fae Sunbeam."

Talia.Sunsong gobbles her shrimp and offers the last shrimp on the plate to Sunbeam "Here, sister Fae"

Jaekob Faolan rolls his eyes and snickers, "Now what does a Danger Fae do exactly hmm Talia?"

Sunbeam Magic: "Doing delightful my Lord. pleased to have your concern." she replies with a wide smile.

Talia.Sunsong: "I protect people and the town. See I'm helping starving FAE by feeding Sunbeam."

Kathena Mavendorf giggles

Sunbeam Magic: " Shall we call you Lady Danger now ?" she giggled looking at her Fae sis. "I just so happy you weren't hurt worse."

Talia Sunsong, Danger Fae?

Jaekob Faolan: "Yes, yes I do see the importance of feeding ...well yes. Good job, Talia."

Talia.Sunsong: "Lady Danger, that does have a nice ring to it."

Sunbeam Magic: "Lady Danger."

Fitheach Eun looks at Saphira and rolls her eyes.

Talia.Sunsong "I did a good job, even the Druid King says so," puffs up chest with pride.
Talia.Sunsong: "Do I get a mug of cream for doing a good job?"

Sunbeam Magic: "You did dear. Has the Drow been an nuisance since that attack?"

Jaekob Faolan: "He attacked a farmer who is recouping in the infirmary. Seems the Drow are making their way around."

Talia.Sunsong: "They attacked a farmer! That could affect the cream production.""

Sunbeam Magic: "Starving, does it look like I've lost weight?" she whispers to Lady Talia.

Kathena Mavendorf looks disturbed. "We need to put a stop to him."

Sunbeam Magic: "That is dreadful news," she gasped. "Is the farmer doing okay?"

Talia.Sunsong: "Fae do have fast metabolism but you still have your womanly curves."

Fitheach Eun nods at Kat, "We do."

Jaekob Faolan: "Oh its not just Ryn, the Elves saw several moving about in the forests of Calenhad, but they seemed to be scouting."

Talia.Sunsong: "The Drow have become too bold and arrogant. they need a come uppance."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Oh gods."

Sunbeam Magic: "Shall we stay clear of the forest ?"

Fiesty Lotus industriously dishes out the Shrimp to all,

Saphira Mistwalker smirks. 'They seem to have avoided my cave of late. They spent several weeks trying to find a way in."

Jaekob Faolan: "I have doubled the patrols on all borders surrounding the Shadow Lands."

Fitheach Eun: "We have seen no more trace over in Taibreamh since the butchered cow was found some weeks ago."

Talia.Sunsong: "Bullies, picking on Hobbits and farmers and Gypsy women."

Jaekob Faolan: " I would advise it, Sunbeam. If you do need to travel ask one of the guards or Elven rangers to escort you hmmm?"

Talia.Sunsong: "ONE less cow, oh no!"

Kathena Mavendorf: "Oh Lady Talia, he only came after me because we have history together. Had I been awake before he arrived, he would not be drawing breath."

Talia.Sunsong: "You should come sleep in the Fairylands, then Gypsy Kat. It's safer."

Jaekob Faolan: "That is the all of it, my sister? Only the Cow? Do I need to send a contingency of elves to protect your borders or do you have it covered?"

Kathena Mavendorf: "That's very kind Lady Talia! I've never been to a faerie land. I hear it's quite the sight!"

 Fitheach Eun: "Only the cow so far and yes we have some patrols; we are not yet alarmed."

Talia.Sunsong: "Oh do come to the Fairylands. We can try to tie empty cans to the unicorn's tails."

Kathena Mavendorf snickers.

Jaekob Faolan nods, "Well, I suppose is time to send our own elves to scout the Shadows Lands."

Saphira Mistwalker looks over Fiesty's shoulder, "Lady Fiesty, if there are any of those shrimp left, I will take some."

Kathena Mavendorf: "I could not pass up such an invitation!"

Talia.Sunsong: "The unicorns hate that."

Fitheach Eun shakes my head.

Sunbeam Magic smiles and ponders at the Druid King noticing the concern for his kingdom making reflected in his eyes. "Double the patrols hope they are sufficient to protect everyone.""

Talia.Sunsong: "So there will be no guards at the Druid King's castle?"

Fiesty Lotus giggles.

Fitheach Eun looks at the Aran with concern,  "Are we ready for that, do you think?"

Talia.Sunsong chuckles to herself.

Saphira Mistwalker looks at Talia, wondering. "What trouble are you going to cause Fae?"

Talia.Sunsong spreads hands out in protest, "When do I ever cause trouble?"

Kathena Mavendorf bursts out laughing.

Saphira Mistwalker: "You are Fae."

Talia.Sunsong: "I am FAE, Warror FAE Hear me roar!"

Saphira Mistwalker: Dragons have a saying, "Wiekr re vi lemeb." ... Fae are trouble.

Fitheach Eun smiles at Saphira; " Funny, elves have that saying, too..."

Saphira Mistwalker giggles. "I think most of the races have that saying."

Talia.Sunsong: "FAE are trouble to our enemies. They fear us..."
Talia.Sunsong: "Maybe we can ride the Pegasus..."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Pegasus? What's that?"

Talia.Sunsong: "You can teach me how to dance," wiggles hips in imitation of gypsy dance.

Talia.Sunsong: "Pegasus has wings like us Fae, but is a horse."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Oh my!"

Saphira Mistwalker nods. "My people are familiar with the pegasus. We call them "briquimchy",

Kathena Mavendorf: "I definitely would like to ride one."

Talia.Sunsong: "You could fly riding a pegasus."

Saphira Mistwalker: "They are noble creatures."

Fiesty Lotus: "Are Pegusus's proud?"

Talia.Sunsong: "Pegasus are nicer than unicorns. Unicorns prefer talking to virgins."

Kathena Mavendorf: "Will I upset the lands with my ummm....personality?"
Kathena Mavendorf snickers.

Talia.Sunsong: "Well," looks at Kat and tries to gauge if she is a virgin. "Don't approach too close to the unicorns."

Fitheach Eun raises her eyebrows at Kat; " I would not recommend trying your vocation there ."

Sunbeam Magic: "Ah Unicorns can be the best when they bond with you... but Pegasus can fly ! its great fun!"

Kathena Mavendorf: "I have a feeling I should avoid the unicorns."

Jaekob Faolan: "As should we all," he mumbles under his breath.

Kathena Mavendorf giggles.

Fitheach Eun giggles.

Talia.Sunsong: "If you bribe the Pegasus with carrots and magic mushrooms you might get to ride him."

Fiesty Lotus looks wistful.

Saphira Mistwalker smiles. "Flying is a wonderful thing. The feel of the wind, the view from on high ..."
