Talia takes Fiesty to Fairyland

The New Market

Talia.Sunsong: Stomach growling, Talia flies about the lands, looking for good food to eat her fill.

Talia.Sunsong: Spies a wee familiar folk down below.

Talia.Sunsong: "It's Fiesty, I'm saved from starvation!"

Fiesty Lotus:”Oh, Fae Talia.”

Talia.Sunsong: Hello Hobbit Cook and Food!

Fiesty Lotus: “Yer found the new Market. Ain't you the smart one.”

Fiesty Lotus grins

Talia.Sunsong: "I'm a genius"

Talia.Sunsong: "I can spot tasty food a mile away, even in a thunderstorm."

Fiesty Lotus: grins wider “a course"

Talia.Sunsong: looks hopefully for cream in the new market

Fiesty Lotus nods “I do believe that"

Talia.Sunsong: "There's cream here? Somewhere?"

Fiesty Lotus: “Well, I be settin up early. I don't think folks will be here for a while yet.”

Fiesty Lotus: “And no, I did not bring cream, well unless you count that sauce fer the jelly roll.”

Talia.Sunsong: puts hand to head "Oh, I have to wait to eat. I'll faint!"

Talia.Sunsong: "Jelly roll cream sauce!" Eyes get big.

Fiesty Lotus takes pity on the Fae and gives her some cookies

Fiesty Lotus: “Oh yeah, that.  I didn't bring much.”

Talia.Sunsong: gobbles the cookies like a starved wolf eating meat. "I can pay you in fairyland berries for the jelly roll."

Fiesty Lotus: “Oh, sounds interesting. What kind?”

Talia.Sunsong: "Um, I don't know because we haven't picked the berries yet. I'll take you to Fairy lands to pick them."

Fiesty Lotus: “My! Oh, My!”

Talia.Sunsong: "It will save me time if you do the work of picking the berries anyway."

Fiesty Lotus: “ Well, I do have some time, and I always hankered to see it.”

Talia.Sunsong: "Goody, then it's settled!

Fiesty Lotus shakes her head in wonder.

Fiesty Lotus: Well then, let’s go.

Fiesty Lotus grabs some sacks from her table and tucks them in her belt

Fiesty Lotus tightens up her muscles for the flight

Talia.Sunsong: "I'll use my powerful magic to take you there." fumbles around in skirts for wands. "My wand should be in here somewhere."

Fiesty Lotus sees a shiny wand in Fae Talia’s hand

Talia.Sunsong: "Don't worry it's perfectly safe."

Talia.Sunsong: "Now what were those magic spell words again?"

Fiesty Lotus: Oh , ahh, no. I don't think.

Fiesty Lotus: I would rather be...

Talia.Sunsong: "Alacazam! To the Fairylands!"

Talia.Sunsong: waves her wand. At first just a few sparks fly weakly out, a bolt suddenly flies.

Talia.Sunsong: The bolt of light hits Fiesty before she can escape

Fiesty Lotus blinks

Fiesty Lotus: Oh my.

Fiesty Lotus: This is beautiful

The Fairylands

Talia.Sunsong: smiles proudly "See you came unharmed. And on my first try too."

Talia.Sunsong: "I didn't fry your hair or rip your skirt even."

Fiesty Lotus pats her body to see if everything is in place

Talia.Sunsong: "You are in in one piece. This time my magic worked, not like last time when I turned that donkey into a dragonfly."

Fiesty Lotus jerks

Talia.Sunsong: laughs "The dragonfly was braying like a donkey as it flew around."

Fiesty Lotus eyes glaze over and she feels a bit ill

Talia.Sunsong: looks closely at the Hobbit "See no dragonfly wings on you. You're fine."

Fiesty Lotus: “Well, um, let’s see these berries, shall we?”

Talia.Sunsong: "We Fae like to dance around the crystal tree"

Fae Dancing

Fiesty Lotus, feeling relieved to be alive dances a few steps with Talia then follows her to a bridge.

Talia.Sunsong: "The bridge spans the lake with giant flowers.

Fiesty Lotus: Tis lovely

They cross the bridge

Talia.Sunsong: "You should see the castle and the golden apples! They are magical."

Talia.Sunsong: "I know, let's pick the golden apples instead of berries. I always wanted a golden apple but the unicorns get in the way."

Fiesty Lotus looks at the beautiful tree, and then there is a lovely unicorn

Fiesty Lotus: “Oh my!”

Talia.Sunsong: "Drat, a unicorn is here, now I won't get near the tree."

Fiesty Lotus stares at the lovely creature

Talia.Sunsong: stays her distance from the unicorn with its sharp horn.

Talia.Sunsong: "Those unicorns are so picky. They don't like me. I can't imagine why. I only put peppers in their feed once."

Fiesty Lotus: In a daze, Fiesty walks up to the unicorn and touches its muzzle

Fiesty Meets the Unicorn

Talia.Sunsong: "Oh my! You can actually touch a unicorn. You must be pure."

Fiesty Lotus: The Unicorn blows softly and bends its head

Fiesty Lotus looks up, “I ain't pure. I swear sometimes and get mad at folks.”

Fiesty Lotus gets lost in the creatures eyes

Talia.Sunsong: "Well the unicorn has judged you as good of heart."

Fiesty Lotus pats the unicorns head and drifts in a fairy tale

Talia.Sunsong: "Can you grab a golden apple for me?"

Fiesty Lotus: “Well, I gotta see if the unicorn will let me do that.”

Fiesty Lotus communes silently with the unicorn and then reaches up to take an apple

Talia.Sunsong: crosses fingers "Golden apple come to me"

The Golden Apple Tree

Fiesty Lotus settles back and pets the unicorn some more

Talia.Sunsong: "You got it! Yay!"

Fiesty Lotus looks long into the eyes of the unicorn and settles beside it

Talia.Sunsong: "Don't get too comfortable. We have berries to pick. Those berries won't pick themselves."

Fiesty Lotus looks around dazedly

Talia.Sunsong: wary of the unicorn, Fae Talia rushes up and grabs Fiesty's hand, then drags her away. "Don't stab me unicorn, I'm just getting my friend."

Talia.Sunsong: "I saved you from that vicious unicorn. You can reward me with a golden apple."

Fiesty Lotus looks at her hand and sees the apple.

Fiesty Lotus thinks that having the apple is not at all as great as touching the unicorn

Talia.Sunsong: "Ohh pretty apple good to give to Fae"

Fiesty Lotus considers “You may have the apple. But you must give me the seeds. I want to plant a memorial tree for the master Druid Jaekob Faolan”

Talia.Sunsong: "Deal!" reaches for apple

Fiesty Lotus gives the apple freely

They walk to a beautiful field of berries

Fiesty Lotus looks around at the yummy berry field, pulls out her sacks and gets to work

The Berry Field

Talia.Sunsong: "A Golden Apple from the magical tree! What treasure. Iron will not hurt me. I will be without illness or sorrow!"

Fiesty Lotus looks up from her work "sorrow is sometimes a good thing"

Talia.Sunsong: dances around happily.

Fiesty Lotus: As she works Fiesty tastes the new berries- they are black and very sweet.

Fiesty Lotus finishes loading her sacks with berries

Talia.Sunsong: slips the Golden Apple into the pocket in the folds of her skirt. She picks a few berries to add to Fiesty's basket, and eats half she picks "The Fairylands are lovely, yes?"

Fiesty Lotus: “They are indeed.”

Fiesty Lotus still looks a bit dazed

Fiesty Lotus: “I guess It be time ter go home?”

Fiesty Lotus: “Oh and I got some jelly roll with cream sauce fer you.”

Talia.Sunsong: pulls out the Golden Apple and admires its shine. She flicks her wand and cuts out a slice. Talia takes a bite, and savors the exotic magical flavor. Swallowing, she smiles and a glow covers her face. Talia picks the seeds out of the apples and holds them out to Fiesty "Seeds for you, and the jelly roll"

Fiesty Lotus takes the seeds gratefully, remembering the unicorn. She tucks them in her pouch.

Talia.Sunsong: pulls out wand "Time to magic you back!" Without asking permission, Talia casts a spell on Fiesty. "Back to where you belong. Alacazam!"

Talia.Sunsong: the wand glows more powerfully, as if the apple has increased Fae Talia's magic. Fiesty is enveloped in light and disappears.

Talia.Sunsong: "I hope it worked, or else she may have landed in the water next to the dock"

Fiesty Lotus sputters and stands where she was before

Fiesty Lotus: “Well, that was pretty successful.”

Fiesty Lotus goes and gets some jelly roll and cream sauce for the Fae

Fiesty Lotus: “I do thank you fer that wonderful experience.”

Talia.Sunsong: "Cream!" forgets temporarily about the Golden Apple and licks the cream sauce

Talia.Sunsong: "We can do it again sometime. I wonder if the berries have magical effects here."

Fiesty Lotus smiles at her memories and begins to unload the delicious berries

Fiesty Lotus: “I wonder.”

Talia.Sunsong: "Well I guess we'll find out..."
